Day 5 Where it all began.

Took a ride out to Nettleham today which is the village I lived in when I first came to Lincoln in 1993, that’s 22 years ago!

Not my best side!

It also made me realise how significant this place is to me. I stayed with an amazing family there when I first arrived. All three of our kids went to school there, both infants and juniors and both excellent schools. It’s also where I have been working for the last 14 years.

It is also home to earthworks of the medieval Bishops Palace which was home to Edith of Wessex who was a wife of Edward the confessor. That’s old!
