Day 12 All systems go.

Today was a ride out to visit friend, colleague, bike guru, soon to be dad and all round good guy Ben.  He of the cycle from the North to the South of France and he who has plenty of cycle know how and the time and patience to sort my wheels out!

As I had mentioned had some issues with slipping gears and Ben was able to cure that for me and at the same time gave some great tips on how to sort it out in future.  Add some oil to  very ‘dry’ chain, air to the tyres and the cycle back home again was brilliant, even in the wind!  Got home and manage to fix a rattily mud guard and bought a new front light from the local bike spares supplier.  Turns out they had a sale on and managed to get 20% of a rechargeable 200 lumen light, result.

Its amazing how a few adjustments and a bit of TLC makes a huge difference.  This is something that I think I should try to apply to other aspects of my life!
