Day 17 A late edition.

When I decided to take on the challenge of cycling 365 days I didn’t want to over plan it rather wanted to be flexible and spontaneous. Which is why todays ride is a late one but still a very nice couple of miles. It’s just the way today went and I would have been rushing around trying to squeeze a ride in.

I noticed this this morning,

seeing some bulbs popping up this early in January is a lovely reminder that spring is on its way, lighter mornings and longer, warmer days. It also reminded me that with all the chaos that is taking place in the world right now it’s one thing that that stays the same. We can be assured that in the same way that day follows night, spring will follow winter and so forth. It’s a sign of hope. Martin Luther King Jnr said the following, ‘We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope.’
