Day 155 D Day Approaches

Not blogged for a while.  Was actually taken aback just now how long it has been!  Time has flown by, whoa, slow down time!

As June 6th approaches I think that it is vitally important to remember the sacrifice made at the D Day Landings.  So many men who gave their lives in the name of freedom is something that cannot go forgotten.

My own personal D Day is also on the horizon.  On the 6th June I will be travelling down to London by train, with my bike, to take part in the Nightrider London cycle event.  Along with 4,500 riders!  It is riding 40 miles through the streets of London starting at about midnight and going past all the iconic landmarks that you can imagine.  I am at that stage where I am simultaneously nervous and excited in equal measures!

I will add a full post about the experience and no doubt will have a few photos to add as well.
