Day’s 33 & 34 An unexpected journey!

The last 24 hours have been a bit of a whirlwind!

I managed to squeeze in a ride yesterday, (although the Map My Ride App was not working for me to record it on!). I needed to drive down to Sittingbourne for an unplanned visit to my parents which was a round trip of 360 miles, but it was lovely to see them.  Thankfully work were understanding and gave me some last minute leave to go see them.

On the drive back the snow started to come down and I ended up driving in a blizzard and crawled along behind an 18 wheeler from Poland for quite a while!  Woke this morning to find that the snow was still coming down in a gentle flurry so got togged up and made off in it.

I know that this is nothing like Bri cycles in up in Northern New York! All the same I am claiming it as a cycle in the snow and will be ticking that particular box.  I loved it and as long as I stayed off the front break did not feel unstable at all.  It was chilly but being out in the crisp air was just what I needed.
