As I was getting ready to cycle home after work I was struck by this wonderful sunrise.

I was so taken aback that I stopped for a minute to take it in. Ride home was OK although I was feeling pretty tired! I am always grateful that I work in a village which is only a 2 mile ride from home. The village is lovely and in the summer time I am fortunate that on my break I can sit outside and enjoy very pleasant surroundings.
This afternoon however proved the weather man this morning to be correct. Just had quite a downpour which didn’t last for too long thankfully.
